base.leisure – mobile energy for events

Energy. Right where the crowd is.

Mobile energy for festivals, open airs and temporary event grounds. Photovoltaics, storage and intelligent energy distribution as one mobile overall system – set up with the production, dismantled with the last fence element.

The problem

Crowds gather where there is no connection.

Festival grounds, parks and fairgrounds rarely have a feed-in that carries a full event operation. To this day, supply therefore runs on diesel generators – loud, expensive, refuelled around the clock and sized for a peak load that only occurs a few hours a day.

  • 01Generator sets keep running even when only the cold store draws power.
  • 02Diesel is delivered, guarded and burnt – right in the audience area.
  • 03Noise and exhaust fumes sit exactly where guests stand.
  • 04Sustainability requirements and green-event criteria get stricter every year.
The solution

What if the power plant arrived with the production?

base.leisure brings generation, storage, consumption and control to the grounds as one mobile system – set up alongside the stage build, independent of the on-site feed-in. After the event it moves on to the next date.

Generate · Store · Use · Control

Everything connected. Everything mobile. Everything from a single source.

Generation, storage, consumption and control work as one system – and move on together.

  • Generate

    POWERTOP

On the event containers: the roof unfolds in minutes and becomes an energy surface. At the next date, it travels along.

  • Generate

    POWERTOP

Every additional container brings its own roof surface. More containers on the grounds automatically means more generation.

  • Store

    POWERCUBE

The white storage units stand right next to the containers. They buffer the daily yield and carry the evening – without a generator kicking in.

  • Generate

    POWERCON

Next to the stage stand the POWERCONS: PV field, technology and connections fully pre-installed, delivered by truck to any grounds.

  • Use

    Stage supplied throughout

Show, lighting and sound hang off a stable network. The event runs without interruption – even long after the sun is gone.

  • Control

    das.os

The operating system behind it all: distributes energy, prioritises loads and shows every value in real time.

Generation

The power plant arrives with the production.

Mobile photovoltaics arrive on the grounds by truck and start producing from the first hour of sunshine – no foundation, no intervention in the site, no permitting procedure for a fixed system.

  • POWERTOP activates the roof of every event container
  • POWERCON delivers PV, technology and connections fully pre-installed
  • POWERSHIELD supplies production and service vehicles self-sufficiently

02

Storage

Solar power becomes the evening.

POWERCUBE collects the daily yield and releases it while the programme runs. Show, lighting and catering draw the load in the evening – fed by what was generated above the grounds during the day.

  • Scalable capacity based on load profile
  • Grid-backup operation without a diesel generator
  • Peak loads during the show absorbed

03

Usage

The power stays on the grounds.

Stage, lighting, sound, catering, refrigeration, ticketing, production offices and charging points all hang off one distribution system. No cable run to the next substation, no night-time refuelling.

  • Stage, lighting and sound equipment supplied
  • Catering, refrigeration and sanitary containers
  • Charging infrastructure for crew vehicles and battery-powered tools

04

Control

das.os turns components into a system.

Generation, storage and consumption are balanced against each other in real time. Production management and organisers can see at any moment what is being generated, stored and consumed – also as evidence for the sustainability record.

  • Automatic load distribution by priority
  • Real-time monitoring across the entire grounds
  • Analytics for production and sustainability reporting

The same systems. A different setting.

Four systems that work on their own and together form a complete mobile power plant. On the construction site as on the festival grounds – identical hardware, just configured differently.

POWERTOP
01System

POWERTOP

Container roofs become energy surfaces.

The mountable PV roof for event, office and service containers. Space that is there anyway generates power without taking up additional room on the grounds.

  • Mounts on standard containers
  • Installed in hours
  • Relocatable
POWERCON
02System

POWERCON

Energy that comes along.

A complete energy container: photovoltaics, inverters, distribution and connections fully pre-installed. Set down, unfold, produce – backstage just as at the food court.

  • Plug-and-play on site
  • Movable by truck
  • Storage can be integrated
POWERCUBE

POWERCUBE

Store energy. Use it in the evening.

The mobile storage unit turns solar power into a plannable supply. It carries the show, caps peak loads and replaces generator operating hours – quietly, right next to the audience area.

  • Scalable capacity
  • Grid-backup capable
  • Controlled via das.os
POWERSHIELD

POWERSHIELD

Energy that rides along.

Photovoltaics directly on the vehicle. The foldable modules supply production, technical and service vehicles self-sufficiently – no generator, no hook-up at the parking spot.

base.leisure applications

Mobile energy for every event.

Wherever energy is only needed for a weekend, a fixed connection is the wrong approach. base.leisure arrives, supplies – and moves on with the production.

Why base.leisure

Less diesel. More energy on site.

Mobile energy solves exactly the problems that are always the same on event grounds: no reliable connection, loud generator sets, stricter requirements and demand that changes by the hour.

01

Quiet

No generator hum behind the stage and none in the audience area.

02

Emission-free on site

No exhaust fumes where guests stand, eat and stay overnight.

03

Rapidly deployable

Deliver, set up, connect. Ready to run in hours instead of days.

04

Modular

Every component works on its own and in combination. Configure it any way you like.

05

Scalable

If the programme grows, modules are added. Without modifying the existing system.

06

Removable without a trace

No foundation, no cable trench. Afterwards the site looks just like before.

07

Intelligently controlled

das.os distributes energy automatically and makes every value visible in real time.

08

Verifiably sustainable

Generation and consumption are documented – solid figures for the event record.

  1. 01

    Analyse demand

We record load profile, programme and grounds: what draws power when, how long the event runs and what the site provides.

  2. 02

    Configure the system

From POWERTOP, POWERCON, POWERCUBE, POWERSHIELD and charging points, we assemble exactly the combination the event needs.

  3. 03

    Deliver & set up

Delivery by truck, setup in parallel with the stage build, commissioning on the same day. No foundation, no intervention in the ground.

  4. 04

    Generate & store energy

The system produces from the first hour of sunshine, the storage buffers the surplus for the evening programme and peak loads.

  5. 05

    Control & optimise

das.os manages priorities, reports deviations and delivers the analytics for production and sustainability reporting.

  6. 06

    Move on

End of event does not mean end of system: it is dismantled, loaded and restarts at the next date.

What you should know about mobile energy.

Deliver, set up, connect: as a rule, the system is operational within hours and can be set up in parallel with the stage and tent build. POWERTOP is mounted on a standard container, POWERCON arrives on site as a ready-made plug-and-play unit.

Yes, exactly the same. POWERTOP, POWERCON, POWERCUBE and POWERSHIELD are identical hardware, controlled via the same das.os. What differs is only how we configure them for your event and distribute them across the grounds.

That is what the storage is for. POWERCUBE absorbs the daily yield and releases it when show, lighting and catering draw the load. How large the storage needs to be follows from the load profile of your event.

Depending on load profile, season and storage size, entirely or in part. Where a generator set is desired as a fallback, das.os integrates it and only lets it run when it is really needed – instead of continuously.

Photovoltaics and storage operate silently. That is why the components can stand where a generator never could – right next to the food court, backstage or camping area.

No. There is no foundation and no cable trench. All components are ballasted or surface-mounted and are loaded up again together with the rest of the setup.

Yes. das.os records generation, storage level and consumption in real time and analyses them. This produces solid figures for funding applications, green-event criteria and event communication.

Grounds, date and a rough idea of the programme are enough to get started. We clarify everything else in the demand analysis – that is where we record load profile, areas and connection situation.
